Rules

  1. It is the responsibility of the participant to read and understand all rules prior to tournament start! State fishing license required.
  2. No one under 18 years of age unless accompanied by parent or guardian.
  3. U.S. Coast Guard approved life jacket must be worn while engine is above idle speed.
  4. A working aerated live well is required, no stringer or baskets allowed.
  5. Artificial lures only! Use only 1 rod at a time, no trolling. Casting only. No live or prepared bait.
  6. Only largemouth, smallmouth and Ky bass are allowed. Minimum length will follow state regulations for that lake. Fish will be measured on Golden Rule!!  Barren, Nolin and Rough have went to 15-inch size limit.
  7. Maximum number of bass will be 5 per team. Any team attempting to weigh in a short fish will be disqualified unless a request for length check is made prior to weigh in.
  8. Competitors who are not at the official weigh in site by designated quitting time will be disqualified. NO EXCEPTIONS!
  9. Any fish that appears to have been mutilated in any way will be weighed at discretion of the tournament officials at the weigh in and their decision is final.
  10. Penalty of .50 lbs. will be deducted for each dead fish weighed in. Tournament officials at weigh in site will determine live fish and their decision is final. CAN Not weigh DEAD FISH FOR BIG FISH!
  11. In case of a tie, the competitor with more eligible fish will be considered winner. In case of 2 or more competitors with the same number and weight of fish, the largest fish will be tie breaker.
  12. All fish will become property of Renegade RBT Tournaments, which will be returned back to tournament waters, with the exception of 1 trophy fish per tournament.
  13. INFRINGEMENT OF THESE RULES SHALL BE CONSIDERED CAUSE FOR DISQUALIFICATION. INTERPRETATION OF THESE RULES SHALL BE LEFT EXCLUSIVELY TO TOURNAMENT OFFICIALS.
  14. Any complaints or questions must be brought in writing and signed by disputer to the attention of the tournament officials either prior to the start of the tournament or the closing of the weigh-in. Complaints will not be accepted after that time and the decision of the tournament officials WILL BE FINAL!!
  15. Anyone participating in a Renegade RBT Tournament will be subject to a polygraph exam and or voice stress analysis if requested by the tournament officials. Examiner’s decision must be accepted without appeal. Entrants understand that the failure of such test or refusal to take the test will disqualify them from the tournament.
  16. Anyone participating in a Renegade RBT Tournament must be a member in good standing and shall present his/her membership card along with entry fees to tournaments. 
  17. Due to the stress and the mortality of the fish, those that are weighed in at a Renegade RBT Tournament MAY NOT BE USED IN ANY ADDITIONAL TOURNAMENT unless other tournament will use a Renegade RBT weigh slip.
  18. There will no culling of fish inside the buoys at the weigh-in site or in the parking lot.
  19. Absolutely no hole-setting or holding of a fishing spot by an alternate boater. This will not be permitted!!
  20. Boat owner must have a minimum of $100,000 liability insurance.
  21. All boaters must obey State boating laws.
  22. No alcoholic beverages allowed in boat or around immediate weigh-in area!
  23. A contestant must stay in boat at all times. If a contestant leaves the boat for any reason, no fishing equipment will be allowed in possession.
  24. No more than a 5 fish limit in your possession at any given time.  
  25. If a contestant fishes by his/herself during a Renegade tournament, the director reserves the right to place an observer in the boat with them that day.
  26. When buying tournament, it must be bought before tournament is fished so money can be paid back at that tournament.
  27. Director reserves the right to refuse participant’s entry into tournament.
  28. NO SHARING OF FISHING INFORMATION DURING TOURNAMENT HOURS BY CELL PHONE, VERBAL, OR TEXTING FROM COMPETING RENEGADE RBT ANGLER FISHING THE DIVISION OR 2024 CLASSIC.  NO HELP IN LOCATING FISH OR METHODS FROM OUTSIDE FOLK’S DURING TOURNAMENT HOURS, PERIOD.
 
Membership to Renegade Tournaments
  • $30 Membership fee per person paid prior to 1st tournament fished, alternate must pay $30.00.
  • An alternate may be used anytime during the year BUT may not be changed during the year.
  • An alternate may fish with one member of team OR by his/herself IF neither member can fish. If the alternate fishes 3 tournaments in the same division, they may fish the Classic with one member of qualifying team member or by themselves for the team.
  • Anyone fishing the 2024 Classic must have fished 5/6 or 10/12 tournaments to be eligible for the Classic (physically fish 3/6 or 6/12 and you can buy 2/6 or 4/12) in the same division. If you Don't understand talk to your director and they can explain it to you.
